Hi All,

  Where do I get an eyedropper that has milliliter lines for measuring nutes?  All I can find are plain ones.

Beth - think not "eyedropper", but "dosing syringe" - any drugstore should have a selection.

Yes, I have a pile of the syringes - as the dosages are small I have ones which measure from 0 to 10mL, as the scale is bigger they are easier to get accurate measurements.

I'm late to the party but any drugstore has them. I bought some 1ml droppers and 10ml syringes from Walgreens.

 If you go to a brewshop you can get get measuring pipettes - and they are super-easy to use and each ml graduation can be as much as 10mm apart - which is great for getting absolutely accurate measurements.

Hi Kevin,

 Thanks for the tip!  I did manage to find a medicine dropper at our local drugstore (equivalent to your chemist store Boots).  We don't have brewshops here in southern Maryland but I will be traveling to Bristol, UK in May and I'd love to visit one.  Any advice?

I'm sorry it took me a while to reply - I've been incredibly busy, but now have some time. Sorry again.

I'm amazed to hear you don't have brewshops where you are; is it still prohibition?  (Only kidding!)

I looked at Google for brewshops in Bristol, to see where you could get a pipette and I could only find one,

(without a photo, alas) but I'm sure there will be chemist's and other brewshops in Bristol that will sell them.

Anyways, I found one for you; here is the link:

Essentially you have a long, thin tube - this one is 300mm long and can measure 40ml, which means 1ml can

be read over a whopping 7.5mm! That's super-easy to read! For a  duffer like me, I have a pipette that reads

10ml over 250mm, so I have an accuracy that is simply unnecessary, but, hey, that's me I guess!

 

I'm glad to hear you're coming over to the UK. I sincerely hope you have a good time. Bristol is a fantastic place

to be, and has great links to the cider-country, Wales and London - you'll have a ball! The best bit is you get to go back to 

the States, which is where I might be heading if this country doesn't pick itself up anytime soon.
