Taking Hood apart ?

Bought an old AG on ebay and thought I'd add the thrid light as I seen others have done. I removed all the screws and tried to pull the silver reflector from the hood .BUT it's a no go .Is this thing also gluded together? Someone chime in and let me in on the trick to get  these seperated. I already have the new socket and I may get two more and change all to receive screw-in CFLs

Oh I feel so stupid ..My eyes

Oh I feel so stupid ..My eyes are not what they use to be ..I missed the two screws that are down in the groves at the middle by the center of lamp sockets// Now i can return  to my project .Change the two sockets and add a thrid in between. by using my hole saw and some JB epoxy..simple to add the  wires

No I bought from LOWE's .

No I bought from LOWE's ..These are not adapters there regular sockets as used in Table Lamps. I intend to remove the AG sockets all together.  But that two piece hood will not come apart. I pried till I thought the hood would break. Theres been YOU TUBE vids of this being done  But no explaining my problem. OH and this AG I see has an Button battery on the bottom of the base. in its own compartment and inside also is a fuse  Guess that battery is for  memory if power is loss. Am I wrong

I haven't tried it,

I haven't tried it, Dollarbill. Did you get the sockets from kidsdeco? Maybe you could email him and ask?
