Outdoor Berries 2016

The strawberry plants survived winter! Mostly. I bought some roots to fill in the slots that didn't wake.

The blueberry is still asleep. I struggled mightily to remove raspberry brambles, but there are still a few.

Strawberries still going

Strawberries still going strong - yum! They still go bad if left to get red, but they taste great white with just a little blush. :) Very sweet!

The strawberries got very

The strawberries got very happy in October. :) Actually harvested now and then from around August 1 to October 27...still going. There was a frost last night, but I doubt they care. We're eating them just-blushed. They tend to get squishy or critter-stolen if we let them ripen too long. But they're pretty good mostly-white.

Should have taken a closeup,

Should have taken a closeup, but one of the strawberry plants has buds! The others don't yet.
