We're getting down into the high 30's tonight. Did you protect your plants? You may get a frost!
it got to mid to high 20C this week in Ottawa which seem far more pleasant than Orlando.
Yeah, gotta love southern Maryland. Usually nice in May, then zooms up to the high 80's with plenty of humidity. High 90's not uncommon. I'm always in a rush to get stuff out into the garden in May. Then when I'm done, I've missed the good weather. I vow to enjoy this long weekend (well, after I plant my peppers, rest of my tomatoes, cotton, set up the electric fence, hoses ........). Whew, I need a long weekend to recover from my long weekend!
I think Judith is inundated in Florida now after months of draught.
NC is quite seasonal, I think.
And now for the heat wave. I saw on AccuWeather that it's presently 84°F in Montreal. Now that's gotta hurt... Pleasantly 80 here today. Montreal... is less used to that.
AccuWeather's published it's summer forecast, which suggests our April pocket heatwave may be the longest hot spell of my summer. Dunno that I believe that... Mostly, Beth, we're both penciled in on the verge between "high humidity" and "zone of storms". Sounds like a pretty typical summer, eh?

No. Got an e-mail from somone I know that I saw in Florida last week and he told me there were snow :O
Are you in Calgary, Mary?
Yeah, the challenge last night is that my tender plants had already gone out without protection. Kinda late here for frost risk.
Well, they had snow in Calgary Canada yesterday..
My mom really like the mini greenhouse since it wraps them up and is a few degrees warmer and almost like a sauna in the afternoon with the sun in it.
Yeah, it was only a few weeks old. Like you said, I just plugged a couple new seeds in the hole.
Boo! At least it wasn't a tomato! Cucs grow fast from seed.
Lost a cucumber to mechanical damage - stem broke under the cover. Oh, well.
