Just a topic for saying hi over here, for those who parted somewhere else. If you've changed name along the way, this might be a good place to say so.
So sad to see a plant in that shape. Maybe you're a candidate for an external reservoir...

Basically going to be lurking for awhile. I let my last two aergarden grows shrivel and die. I restarted a pepper plant at work in an AG3, but not sure what I will do at home yet.
Glad to hear that, Inuyashalover21! Me, too.
I am still alive LOL
Always good to hear about your systems, twocents.
Summer is slow for indoor growing, for me. Too busy outdoors while the sun shines. But - you can post about any kind of growing here.
I am hoping to see a few more refugees, I am glad to see some of the old crew here.
I have moved on to other forms of hydroponics, but I am still using a couple of the aerogardens. One has some herbs (the oldest, almost 270 days now. The other I use the seed starter to begin lettuce that I move to the ebb and flow system. It is the only method that I have seen that grows roots long enough to reach down into the flood level.
I have strawberries in 3 of the 8 buckets, going to put in more: I started them in the eco grower and they were doing very well, then I moved them to the ebb and flow. They did not like that at all, over half have died and I have ordered more (Ft Laramie berries). I also bought a used hps fixture with a 600 watt bulb in it. Not sure if that is sufficient, but we will see. The lettuce I put at the periphery of the lamps coverage and the berries go underneath, closer to the source.
Anyway, everything is in flux; always is.
ciao for now.
Hi, Weimed! Good to hear from you again. The sunshine state is an adjustment to the growing season, I hear.
Hey Ginger, I am still around. Moved down south so got rid of my aerogardens. Now I have a back yard and have a Tomato plant sitting in a pot outside. I'm in the sunshine state so growing will not be hard ;)
I really don't know, twocents, on ppm vs. ec. Peat discussed it in his guide, but I don't remember what he said. What I have is an EC truncheon I received as a gift from BB. Peat, BB, and I founded this forum together as a place for us to talk.
btw, is using the ec scale more accurate than using the ppm scale?
