I get such a high from growing things in my Aerogarden that I decided to try my hand at growing a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs in... dare I say it! Soil!
May I present to you...
Chives
LOL jessi, you have put more grow logs up in 3 days than I have in 19 weeks!
You have so much enthusiasm for growing, it's great to see you over here with all your plants.
Aw! Thank u Peat!
I guess my addiction is showing
Look alive! We have... chive!

Got a few more chives coming in...

For all the trouble people have with chives in the AG, once they're established in soil they're remarkably persistant. The rest of the outdoor garden is nearly barren waste at the moment, but last year's container chives are growing strong. I guess the onion family likes cold.
That's great G! I hope more come on up in my pot and quickly. The one pod from my AG3 are in a small vase and water and are actually doing better now. It is weird! Its like they are happy to be away from the basil

A few more chives have arrived. I do find that this soil requires more water than the others.

I got this great grow kit from buzzyseeds.com which made this so easy for a gardening novice like me!
It comes with seeds, a pot and soil.
These seeds are tiny and they hide in the package corners.
I have successfully planted seed in the soil in a nice circular pattern
Covered with remaining soil.
Add water.
Moved to her new home in between my lettuce & red cherry tomato Aerogardan 3s.
