In this grow (almost finished), I tried same lightscreen, different mid-size tomato variety. The concept was to offer more than one choice of tomato with the lightscreen product. And I'd never tried a determinate. And... that was probably the right choice. The plant yielded 8 ripe tomatoes, that all ripened within 2 weeks of each other. It then started working on another flush of fruit, true. But I'd rather get a more steady stream of harvest.
Unfortunately, the plant also got blighted, and seems to have little if any resistance. So how many fruit I could have gotten from it if healthy, and how good they would have tasted if the plant was healthier, I don't know.
12 (first at 15 weeks)
terminated at 23 weeks due to incurable fungus (plant still lively, tho)
