10 Aerogardens! Wow. Welcome,

10 Aerogardens! Wow. Welcome, MaryL!

I've never tried a Shishito pepper. (Like eating one. I've never grown one either.) Are they good?

Hi, I'm Mary and live in the

Hi, I'm Mary and live in the Los Angeles area.  Though we have great weather for a lot of types of gardening, and a long growing season, I aerogarden all year long because I just love it so much.  Easier on the back toosmiley

My favorites for aerogardening are lots of greens and herbs.  And a pepper and tomato plant here and there.  I have 10 units active right now.  My current experiment/first time grow is a Shishito pepper plant.  I have no idea if it'll become unmanageable, but it's looking good right now.

Hi All,

Hi All,

I'm Beth - been here for awhile.  I live in Southern Maryland, grow in my aerogardens in fall and winter.  Outside in spring and summer.  Always open to new growing ideas to extend the harvest.

Welcome, Liz.

Welcome, Liz.

Indeed, not all Aerogardens are created equal...

Hello. :) I know I haven't

Hello. :) I know I haven't introduced myself yet to people. My name is Liz, and I live in Iowa. I'm originally from Puerto Rico, but have lived here in Iowa for some 20+ years. I've always loved gardening, though mostly have only been able to do indoor gardening since I've lived in aparments all this time. I've been aware of AeroGardens all this time, but they were always outside my budget since I was a broke college kid for many years, or starting out at a basic job. I spotted an AeroGarden Extra Elite last August of 2014, at a garage sale -- brand new, in box -- for $20. I bought it, and am now pretty hooked.

I've grown an herb garden before -- which mostly all grew, despite them having sat unplanted since 2011... and now I'm growing Puerto Rican peppers and some Puerto Rican herbs. I also have an AeroGarden 3SL which my hubby got me, of which I'm not so fond, honestly. (But that's another topic.)

I am a reluctant refugee from another forum that's closing, but I guess I am thankful that I can still have a place to 'geek out' with other AeroGarden buddies. I look forward to meeting others, and sharing stories, swapping successes/failures, etc. :)

Liz
